On February 12, 2026, Charles R. Drew University’s Office of Student Life (OSL) and the CDU Library hosted a vibrant Black History Month Exhibit that brought learning, culture, and community together across the library and Cobb Lobby. Featuring a special doll exhibit by Ms. Patricia Shrivers, the event offered a powerful visual celebration of Black heritage and storytelling.
As students and staff walked through the exhibit spaces, they engaged with curated displays, historical facts, and library resources that highlighted Black history, resilience, and contributions. The interactive layout encouraged exploration, reflection, and discovery, making the exhibit both an educational and immersive experience that honored Black History Month while showcasing the CDU Library's rich resources.
